Imperial Colonial Army
The Imperial Colonial Army is a separate entity to the Imperial Army. It recruits from both mainland Poland and Lithuania, as well as its colonies. But due to fears about loyalties, mass compulsory training is not implemented as it is on the mainland. The Imperial Colonial Army is stationed in all Imperial colonies and was originally founded in 1807 following the founding of Polish Central Africa. The force at present has a dual mission as both a military force for the defence of the colonies and a counter-insurgency force against militants and terrorist groups. At present the largest threat for the Colonial Army are the various Islamist extremist insurgent groups and other similar terrorist organisations. The Colonial Army numbers 34,600 men and women.

Where heavy firepower is needed they coordinate with Air Force units based in their corresponding colony. Light Infantry Brigades serve as regular troops for the colonies. Tactical Response Units are small units of 800 men which are equipped with helicopters and high speed all terrain vehicles which enable them to rapidly respond to situations. They receive special forces training and are considered the best units of the Colonial Army. The Empresses Own Mechanised Cavalry Brigade is a brigade sized mechanised infantry brigade which is equipped with Armoured personal carriers and light tanks. Task Force Tsingtao is a small unit of Colonial Light Infantry who serve as the garrison for the city colony of Tsingtao. They are often reinforced by a detachment of Naval Infantry.
The Africa Legion and Arabic Legion are units of foreigners recruited to serve in the colonies. The Africa Legion recruits native Africans from Central Africa and East Africa, while the Arabia Legion recruits from Polish Arabia. They are considered motorised light infantry. The Africa legion currently numbers 5,000 men and the Arabia Legion currently numbers 4,800 men. After serving 8 years in either legion, legionnaires are granted imperial citizenship and an apartment.
